Education
Every trip a school takes, organized.
Field trips and science camps, tournaments and band competitions, faculty conferences, research fieldwork, recruiting and study abroad. silentVIP for Good gives schools, colleges and universities one travel program for all of it, run by silentVIP's travel team, with the approvals, cost codes and duty of care an educational institution answers for.

Learn moreWhy schools are different
Schools travel with other people's children
And with public money, activity funds raised by families, and research awards with their own rules.
Minors and duty of care
Students travel in the school's care. Itineraries in one place, urgent help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and a travel team that contacts your group when something happens.
Approvals that follow policy
Board or district policy, the principal, the business office, the department chair: each traveler has a named approver, with delegates for set dates.
Many pots of money
General funds, activity and booster funds, grants and research awards. Each charge carries an entity, department and project from booking.
Groups, not just travelers
Group travel from 10 attendees. Students, chaperones and coaches booked together as one group, with names changed as the roster moves.
Records for the business office
Invoices per entity and period, every line coded, refunds and unused ticket credits tracked, and file exports for your finance system.
Careful with student data
Only what travel needs. Single sign-on with Google or Microsoft is available on request, and an account can require it for everyone. Student records stay under your school's own privacy obligations.

What schools ask first
Which institutions do you work with?
Elementary, middle and high schools (public, charter and independent), districts and school systems, colleges and universities, and graduate and professional schools.
Can a whole district use one program?
Yes. Each school can be its own department, with its own approvers, and the district sees reports across every school.
What does it cost?
No supplier commissions. We're paid only our published fees. Terms for schools and institutions are set out in writing for each one before anything starts.
How long does it take to start?
Implementation usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. If a trip is coming up sooner, tell us when you get in touch.
Do you run buses or coaches?
No. School buses and charter coaches stay with your district or your usual operator. silentVIP arranges intercity rail, flights, hotels, and car rentals and pre-booked ground transportation for airport transfers and groups.
Can students book themselves?
No. Students travel as guest travelers on trips your staff request. Live self-service search across airline and hotel inventory is not available today. Travelers request a trip and choose from the options our team sends.
Who handles consent forms and chaperone checks?
Your school, under its own policy. silentVIP books the travel for the people your school has approved to go.
